1. "Guard your steps as you go to the house of God, and approach to listen..." (Ecclesiastes 5:1-3)
2. Pray for a hedge of protection. (Matthew 6)
3. Test every spirit (1 John 4)
4. If something feels off, pause and find community.

5 Playful Ways to Hear From God

1. Stop, and ask “Jesus, now what?” And listen for what comes to mind.
2. Go on a walk and ask Jesus, “Should I go left, right or center?” and then walk and follow the promptings. (Template here.)

5. Ask for something in a prayer, and see how he answers it. (Matthew 7:7-12)
